Shrimp Taco

– 500 g shrimp,
– 2 tablespoons oil
– 1 teaspoon chili powder
– 1 teaspoon cumin
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1/2 teaspoon paprika
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Juice of 1 lime
– Corn or flour tortillas
- Avocado and Yogurt Sauce
– 1/2 avocado
– 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
– 1/2 lemon juice
– Salt to taste
– 2-3 cloves of garlic (optional)
– 250 g Greek yogurt
- Avocado and Tomato Sauce
– 2 avocados crushed
– 1 small onion diced
– 2 medium tomatoes diced
– 1 chopped mango
– 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
Directions
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
In a pan, combine the oil, chilli powder, cumin, garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and lime juice. Add the shrimp and toss to coat well. Let it fry for about 15-20 minutes, or until all the water has evaporated. - Warm the Tortillas: In a dry skillet, warm the tortillas for about 30 seconds on each side until they’re pliable.
- Avocado and Yogurt Sauce
In a medium bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, chopped cilantro, lime juice, lime zest, and minced garlic (if using). Stir all the ingredients together until well combined. Adjust the lime juice and seasoning according to your preference.

In a mixing bowl, combine the diced tomato, diced mango, chopped onion, and minced garlic, and crushed avocado. Add lemon juice to the mixture, along with salt to taste. The citrus juice will not only add flavour but also help prevent the avocado from browning.
