Hey there, baking enthusiasts! Today, we’re going to whip up a fluffy upside-down cake with a delicious apricot twist. So, let’s get started!
Here’s what you’ll need: 150 grams of sugar, 4 eggs, 4-6 apricots, 200 grams of flour, 100 milliliters of oil, 100 milliliters of milk, 7 grams of baking powder, 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, and a splash of vanilla essence (optional).
First, we’ll combine the sugar and eggs in a bowl, and then add the flour, oil, and milk. Mix everything together, and then add the baking powder, cinnamon, and vanilla essence. Stir it all up, and then cut your apricots into quarters.
Now, let’s get baking!
Use a parchment paper in the pan, and sprinkle some cinnamon and sugar. ( 1 teaspoon and 1 tablespoon)
Place the apricots on the bottom of the pan, on top pour the batter. Bake in the oven for about 30-40 minutes, at 180 degrees Celsius and voila! You’ve got a fluffy, fruity, and scrumptious upside-down cake.
